What is a print permit?

The publications of Franckh Kosmos Verlag GmbH & Co. KG are protected by copyright, so you need our written permission before you can print excerpts from one of our titles. Please remember that image rights are rarely owned by the publisher.

How do you get permission to print?

Please identify the copyright holder in the copyright, literature/source or image references of the publication in question. If a rights holder other than Franckh Kosmos Verlag GmbH & Co. KG is named, please contact them directly. Otherwise, please send your request to the contact person below by email or using the following form. Please include the text excerpt to be printed with your request. Unfortunately, telephone inquiries, information or permission to print are not possible.
In general, all inquiries are processed chronologically. Processing time can be 6-8 weeks. Please submit your detailed request with appropriate time in advance.

How much are the printing costs?

The printing fee varies depending on the title, but is at least EUR 80.
